CVG Seating (India) Pvt Ltd was incorporated in April 2011 as a JV between Commercial vehicle Group, Inc and Hema Engineering Industries Ltd. This JV then acquired complete seating business of Vijayjyot Seat Pvt Ltd in November 2012 and become 100% subsidiary of Commercial Vehicle Group.

The acquisition added 3 manufacturing locations as Pune (Maharashtra), Dharwad (Karnataka) and Pithampur ( Madhya Pradesh). The registered office is at Vadodara – Baska (Gujarat).
